On Christmas Eve we have a few traditions. The kids get to open one gift from us and it is always pajamas, than we do something called Secret Pals, After Thanksgiving we put all of our names in a bowl and than we draw one, we cant tell anyone who we have, during the next month we do things for our secret pal and leave them a note, it can be anything from making their bed to drawing them a picture, just about anything but these things have to be done in secret, than on Christmas Eve we have one gift for our Secret Pal, it can be homemade, or whatever that individual decides. The kids have so much fun serving each other throughout the month without anyone knowing, but somehow as Christmas draws closer they end up telling each other.

We close our evening reading from Luke 2 as the kids act out the scripture. It was quite a wonderful evening.
